01 Dr. Mahbubullah Mohammad Taimur Hasan

President

A highly accomplished public health and humanitarian leader with over 25 years of experience driving high-impact health initiatives across emergency and development settings in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Iraq with UNHCR. Holding MBBS and MPH qualifications, he has led large-scale refugee health operations, coordinated complex multi-sectoral responses, and built resilient health systems for displaced and vulnerable populations. His expertise spans emergency response, HIV prevention, health systems strengthening, community engagement, policy development, and high-level stakeholder coordination.

 

02 Z M Sajjadul Islam

Vice President (Programme)

A highly accomplished professional with over 26 years of experience in development and humanitarian sectors, including 14 years with UN agencies such as UNDRR, UNDP, UNCDF, UN Women, and WFP. Mr. Islam is the Founder of the Multi-Hazard Early Warning System Design & Implementation Center (MHEWC). He has worked with ministries in the government sector across Bangladesh, Mongolia, Niger, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Somalia, and Sierra Leone, providing technical support in improving local government climate risk-informed sector-level planning, project implementation, Disaster Risk Governance Management, Climate Change Adaptation, and multi-hazard early warning systems.

 

03 Md. Arman Ali

Vice President (Administration)

A distinguished professional with over seven years of experience in high-stakes international environments including the World Bank Group and UNHCR. He brings proven expertise in multilateral coordination, stakeholder engagement, and strategic operations. With an academic background in Peace, Conflict, and Human Rights, along with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), he possesses a solid legal and ethical foundation that strengthens the organization’s institutional capacity.

 

04 Dr. Rasheduzzaman Mandal

General Secretary

Holding MBBS and MPH qualifications, a dedicated public health professional with over a decade of experience leading health and nutrition programs in humanitarian and emergency settings, including UNHCR refugee operations. He has expertise in sector coordination, epidemic preparedness, and capacity building. Fluent in English, Bengali, and Rohingya, he communicates effectively across diverse communities and is committed to equitable access to quality care.

 

05 Md. Tariqul Islam Emon

Treasurer

A seasoned finance and tax professional with expertise in accounting, taxation, and VAT. He built his career through CA Articleship and progressive roles in financial advisory, currently serving as Finance Consultant at a multinational IT firm. He is a certified Income Tax Practitioner (ITP), a CA Professional Level candidate, and a member of the Dhaka Taxes Bar Association, committed to upholding the organization’s financial integrity.

 

06 Mohammad Amdadul Haque

Joint Secretary (Government Liaison)

A dedicated, client-oriented professional with extensive experience in the hospitality sector. He served as General Manager at a reputed star hotel in Cox’s Bazar, demonstrating strong leadership, operational management, and customer service excellence. He has actively contributed to voluntary initiatives in his community, particularly during flood emergencies and the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

07 Jonab Ali

Joint Secretary (Field Coordination)

A committed humanitarian professional with over 25 years of experience working with a reputed local NGO. He played a frontline role during the 2017 refugee influx in Cox’s Bazar, demonstrating exceptional dedication while helping expand his organization’s presence across refugee camps. He has been actively involved in voluntary initiatives during flood emergencies and the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

08 Salma Akter

Executive Member

A dedicated community leader who has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to community service. She has been actively involved in voluntary initiatives, particularly during flood emergencies and the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting vulnerable households and contributing to local response efforts.
