একটি সুস্থ, সুরক্ষিত ও ক্ষমতায়িত, জলবায়ু সহনশীল বাংলাদেশ যেখানে ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ জনগোষ্ঠীর সামগ্রিক কল্যাণ (জনস্বাস্থ্য ও মানসিক স্বাস্থ্যসহ), মর্যাদা, টেকসই জীবিকা এবং খাদ্য, জ্বালানি, পরিবেশ ও জলবায়ু নিরাপত্তা অর্জন করে।
Mission
To improve public health and mental health, strengthen WASH services and rural-urban primary healthcare systems, enhance sustainable livelihoods, and promote social wellbeing through community-based, inclusive, environmentally responsible, and climate-adaptive development initiatives.
জনস্বাস্থ্য ও মানসিক স্বাস্থ্যের উন্নয়ন, ওয়াশ (WASH) সেবা এবং গ্রামীণ ও শহুরে প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্যসেবা জোরদার করা, টেকসই জীবিকা উন্নয়ন এবং সামাজিক কল্যাণ বৃদ্ধি করা যা সম্প্রদায়ভিত্তিক, অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক, পরিবেশবান্ধব ও জলবায়ু সহনশীল উন্নয়ন কার্যক্রমের মাধ্যমে বাস্তবায়িত হবে।
Objectives
The objectives of the Foundation are to:
- Improve access to WASH, public health and mental health services in the City Corporation, municipalities ( A, B, C type Pourashava) , urban centers, secondary towns .
- Promote preventive healthcare and wellbeing awareness,
- Support women, children, youth, elderly, and persons with disabilities
- Support urban poverty alleviation programme, Primary health care, urban education, green urban, value chain development programme
- Enhance productive livelihood opportunities(agriculture, livestock, fisheries, agroforestry, etc.), promote micro/small enterprises/value chains, and economic empowerment initiatives
- Provide psychosocial support and community protection services
- Implementing social welfare and humanitarian programs
- Protect the environment by promoting sustainable practices and conserving natural resources, Implementation of renewable energy ( Solar, Biogas ) services at the household, community, and institutional levels
- Conduct technical training, research, and capacity building
- Respond to emergencies and disasters
- Promote social justice, inclusion, and community resilience
- Collaborate with government, NGOs, and development partners
- Conduct climate & multi-hazard risk assessment, socio-economic survey, and develop ICT-enabled planning tools ( GIS map, database, repositories), support risk-informed local development planning for the multi-tier local government institutions, e.g., municipality, Ward, community, Pourashava, Secondary towns, Union, and Village level.
